Storm has partnered with the Cancer Council Victoria for the Friday night's match-up with Brisbane to help spread awareness of their Call to Arms campaign, which aims to reduce the impact of cancer for all men through creating awareness and raising funds.

While cancer is one of the leading causes of death amongst Victorian men, around one third of all cancers can be prevented through healthy lifestyle choices. One in two men will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85. It could be you. It could be your best mate.

Million Dollar Match: 5 Sept, AAMI Park. Be there for your chance “Kick to Cure” and win $1million. Buy tickets here.

Selected players have also thrown their support behind the initiative, recording their own pledge to cut their cancer risk (watch video in the player above).

The players will wear yellow armbands in the game against the Broncos, as a mark of respect and show of support for men who are fighting or have fought cancer.

Help combat cancer in our club's Call to Arms match by making your pledge and donate to Cancer Council via calltoarms.com.au/storm.

Cancer Council Victoria volunteers will be present at the game outside of Edwin's Cafe on the AAMI Park forecourt where Storm members and fans can contribute to the Call to Arms campaign.
