20-year old Hymel Hunt joins Melbourne Storms first-grade squad in 2014, adding depth to Craig Bellamys outside back stocks.

Hunt enjoyed a strong 2013 season in the NYC Cup with the Gold Coast Titans, which culminated in selection in the centres for the U20 Team of the Year.

The former Nudgee College rugby union converts impressive year saw him earn representative honours for both the Queensland U20 side as well as the Junior Kangaroos. This followed on from the Redcliffe juniors 2012 season where Hunt made his representative debut with the U20 Maroons.

At just 19 years of age, Hunt also managed to secure his first-grade debut in 2013, breaking into John Cartwrights starting side in Round 17. Hunt started in the centres in the Titans clash with Penrith, playing 80 minutes on debut.
