Will the season go ahead or be postponed?
The NRL has announced its intention to recommence the 2020 season as a 20-round competition on May 28 with the grand final to be played on October 25. There is still a lot of detail to be considered, however we will be working with the NRL to ensure the team is ready to play when the season does restart. What happens if there are no fans at games?
All matches will be played under normal NRL rules, but without anyone in the stadium watching. As it stands today, all matches will continue to be played for competition points as they would any regular season.
Can we have some fans at a game as long as the total is less than 500?
We are taking advice from the NRL, government agencies and health authorities on all match related details which means all matches will be closed to members and fans under new government requirements.
Will I get a refund on my membership?
While the NRL announced its intention to recommence the 2020 season in late May, there is still a lot of work to be done which will impact on the ability for members and fans being able to attend games. Given we do not yet know the scheduling details of the season, we are unable to provide any further information at this time.
Why should I keep my membership?
Now, more than ever, we need the support of all Storm members and fans. We are still working through the ever-changing environment that is before us and will continue to keep you up to date with information and how it impacts on our club.
Can I put my payment plan on hold?
Given that a number of factors are still being worked through regarding the 2020 memberships, we understand that some people would feel more comfortable with pausing payments whilst we wait for all the information to be finalised. If I get a refund/credit, can I still keep my reserved seat for next year?
We will continue to keep members informed of any decisions that are made, particularly as they impact on memberships for the 2020 season.
Can I get my member items sent out or collect from the office?
Yes, we are now offering members the option to have their items sent out or to pick up from our office later in the year. Click here to lodge your member pack preference.
Can I still renew my membership?
Yes! We need your support now more than ever. You can renew online at ticketmaster.com or by calling 1300 786 767.
What happens for interstate members?
As for Victorian-based members, we will continue to keep members informed of any decisions that are made, particularly as they impact on memberships for the 2020 season.
What is the Member Pledge?
The overwhelming feedback we have had from you, our Storm family, is that you would like to do what you can to ensure our club continues to operate and continues to be the best club in the competition - on and off the field. We’re asking Members to stick with us in this difficult time by pledging your 2020 Membership fee to the club no matter what happens with the 2020 NRL Season.
We are doing everything we can to show our gratitude to you our loyal members and will also be offering members:
- Delivery of your 2020 membership item to you at no additional cost or if you’d prefer to wait you can pick it up later in the year
- Special edition 2020-member pin, which will be available for collection later this year or sent out as part of 2021 membership pack
What if I can’t Pledge?
We would love to have your continued support. However, we understand that everyone’s circumstances are different, and we urge you to contact the club if you are going through financial hardship. If you wish to discuss this with a team member, our membership phone lines are open between 9am and 1pm Monday - Friday. Match Day and Ticketing
Do tickets get refunded?
Ticketek and the NRL have now reached out to all members and fans who purchased tickets for any Melbourne Storm games that had previously been scheduled for 2020 Including ANZAC Day, and these people should by now have received a refund for these tickets. If you have not received contact or are still waiting for a refund, please contact Ticketek.
How can I watch the games?

In addition, Ticketed Members will be able to access Kayo Basic for $5 for 2 months, ensuring you can watch NRL anytime, anywhere in Australia. To take advantage of this offer, you will need to utilise a unique, single-use code which can be activated for new, returning and existing customers. All ticketed members should have received an email on 19/03/2020 with details.

How can we stay up to date with the latest information?
The Storm website is home to all the latest news. We also communicate with our members via emails and post regularly on our social media channels. Follow us to stay across all the latest.

Will your offices remain open?
Our offices will be closed for ALL external visitors. For all membership enquiries please contact 1300 786 767 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Will there be an open training session anytime soon?
I am sure you appreciate the health and wellbeing of our players and football staff is paramount during this time. Therefore, we have had to make some changes to public appearances of our players which means there will be no open training sessions for the immediate future. We will try to give members and fans as much access to the club via our social and digital channels so please keep an eye out for all the Storm news on our website and social media channels.
What will happen with Little Munster’s clinic?
Little Munsters will be postponed until a later date. Further information will be sent via email regards a rescheduled date.
What will happen with the Street Crew clinic?
The Street Crew Clinic will be postponed until a later date. Further information will be sent via email regards a rescheduled date.
I want to send messages and videos of support to the boys, how can I do so?
Messages and videos of support can be sent via email@example.com which will be passed onto the playing group. Please note the office is closed so unfortunately, we are unable to accept physical mail.
Can I make a donation to the club to help out?
All donations made to the Club are appreciated. Donations can be made to the Melbourne Storm Foundation through the Australian Sports Foundation. Head to bit.ly/DonateYourStorm to donate.
All donations over $2 are tax deductable. All tax receipts are communicated by the Australian Sports Foundation.
