Melbourne Storm is delighted to confirm the signing of experienced centre Adam Pompey on a two-year contract for the 2027 and 2028 seasons.
The 28-year-old will join Storm with immediate effect from the New Zealand Warriors, joining Craig Bellamy’s squad for pre-season training ahead of the 2027 campaign.
Born in Auckland, Pompey has made 136 NRL appearances since making his first-grade debut in 2019.
A proven points scorer, Pompey has scored 39 tries and kicked 66 goals throughout his eight-year career with the Warriors.
Pompey began his rugby league career with the Sydney Roosters in 2017 and 2018 after excelling in rugby union for Wesley College in Auckland.
He made 25 appearances for the Warriors in 2025, scoring 11 tries and kicking six goals, before featuring in 17 games this season, scoring five tries and kicking 15 goals. He also recorded 1,896 running metres and 30 tackle breaks throughout the 2026 season.
Pompey represented the Māori All Stars on three occasions, selected in 2023, 2024 and 2026.
Storm Director of Football Frank Ponissi said Pompey’s experience would be a valuable addition to the Club’s squad for the next two seasons.
