The Rugby League Players Association (RLPA) has named the Contenders for the 2026 Players’ Champion, rugby league’s player voted award.
Hand-picked by the RLPA’s player leaders from every NRL, the Contenders are four players from every team who are now eligible to receive votes from NRL players to be crowned their competition’s best player.
With four representatives from every team, the 68 NRL players are now in contention for rugby league’s most prestigious individual player-voted honour, The Players’ Champion presented by Select Cards.
Melbourne Storm’s four Contenders for 2026 are Sua Fa’alogo, Stefano Utoikamanu, Harry Grant and Jahrome Hughes.
Storm halfback Jahrome Hughes claimed the Players’ Champion award in 2024.
The NRL Players’ Champion winner will be announced live on Channel 9 on Monday 28 September. Click here to read more.
