Team Announcement: Round 9 v Dolphins

Craig Bellamy has named his squad for Friday’s Round 9 clash with the Dolphins in Brisbane.

Storm travel to Suncorp Stadium with five changes to their starting team following Saturday’s defeat to South Sydney.

Hugo Peel will make his NRL debut on the right wing, replacing Manaia Waitere in the number five jersey. Peel becomes just the seventh Victorian to represent Melbourne Storm at NRL level.

Tyran Wishart comes into the starting side at halfback, replacing the unavailable Jahrome Hughes (concussion).

The forward pack sees the return of Ativalu Lisati for his first appearance since Round 2, with Shawn Blore and Alec MacDonald also elevated to the starting pack.

The bench includes a potential Storm debut for Victorian product Trent Toelau, named alongside forwards Joe Chan, Trent Loiero, Davvy Moale, Cooper Clarke and outside back Manaia Waitere.

Josiah Pahulu, Moses Leo and Jack Hetherington make up the extended reserves.

Friday’s game kicks-off at 8pm, live on Channel 9 and Fox Sports.
