Melbourne Storm players headed to local primary schools this week as part of the club’s annual ‘Storm in Your School’ initiative.
Storm players visited 22 schools across Melbourne through the Club’s community program, delivered in partnership with NRL Victoria, helping to grow the game of rugby league across the state.
The initiative saw players visit classrooms to engage with students, promoting healthy habits while taking part in educational sessions and interactive Q&As.
Players also spent time sharing personal stories and insights into professional sport, offering encouragement and inspiration to the next generation.
This initiative highlights the Club’s ongoing commitment to connecting with local communities and developing the game at a grassroots level in Victoria. It complements the annual ‘Storm in Your Club’ program, with players set to visit local NRL clubs across the state next month, engaging directly with junior participants.
This year’s program was proudly supported by Budget Direct, helping to drive the continued growth of rugby league in Victoria.
