Melbourne Storm has today confirmed AAMI Park will be sold-out for Saturday’s Round 6 game against the New Zealand Warriors.
Close to 30,000 fans are set to pack the venue for the second consecutive home game, following a blockbuster Round 3 crowd against the Brisbane Broncos.
With AFL out of town for Gather Round, Storm will have Melbourne to itself for a huge Saturday of rugby league.
The Club’s new fan zone Purple Paddock will open from 3pm, alongside Storm’s Jersey Flegg side taking on the Warriors U21s at Gosch's Paddock (kick-off 3pm).
Fans can then settle in for a full evening of footy on AAMI Park, with Storm’s NSW Cup team hosting the curtain-raiser against the Warriors at 4:45pm, before the NRL clash kicks-off at 7:35pm.
With significant foot traffic expected in and around the precinct, fans are encouraged to arrive early to avoid delays and enjoy the full pre-game experience.
Another sell-out crowd is anticipated for Storm’s ANZAC Day game against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at AAMI Park on Saturday 25 April.
