Team Announcement: Round 6 v Warriors

Craig Bellamy has confirmed his squad for Saturday’s Round 6 clash against the New Zealand Warriors at AAMI Park.

The starting side is boosted by the return of Jack Howarth and Moses Leo, with both players back from injury after missing the Round 5 defeat to Penrith.

Cooper Clarke retains his place in the starting pack, lining up at second-row.

The bench includes utility Tyran Wishart, alongside forwards Alec MacDonald, Jack Hetherington, Davvy Moale and Lazarus Vaalepu, with outside back Manaia Waitere also named.

Victorian product Hugo Peel has been included in the extended reserves and is in contention to make his NRL debut.

Saturday's match will see Storm and the Warriors compete for the Michael Moore Trophy, named in honour of Michael Moore, the Storm’s inaugural Football Manager who tragically passed away in Auckland on the eve of the 2000 NRL season.

The Michael Moore trophy is presented annually to the winning captain of Storm v Warriors.
