Lisa Fiaola and SG Ball qualify for Finals

Melbourne Storm’s U17 Female Lisa Fiaola and U19 Male SG Ball sides have both qualified for finals following strong wins in the final round of their regular seasons this weekend.

The U17 Lisa Fialoa outfit put an exclamation mark on a fantastic home and away season with a dominant 46-0 win against the Illawarra Steelers in Wollongong. The victory secured the young Storm side fifth spot on the table a finals berth in their inaugural season in the competition – a fantastic achievement.

The Matt Duffie led U19 SG Ball side continued on their form from 2025, also securing a finals berth – the second year in a row they have secured a spot in the post season. Finishing second on the table, equal points with the first placed South Sydney, the young Storm outfit finished their regular season in strong fashion with a 28-18 win over the Sydney Roosters with 10 Victorians in the line-up.

Both Storm teams will feature next weekend in the first week of NSWRL finals across the U17 and U19 competitions with game details still to be confirmed.

The Club’s Harold Matthews U17 Male and Tarsha Gale U19 Female sides unfortunately  missed Finals, but represented our Club with pride across the course of the season.
