Melbourne Storm has today announced the re-signing of emerging prop Cooper Clarke.
The 19-year-old, who made his NRL debut in Round 1 against Parramatta and since made four first-grade appearances, has signed a contract extension with the Club until the end of the 2029 season.
Clarke has rapidly progressed through Storm’s player pathway, enjoying a breakout 2025 season that saw him earn NSW Under-19 State of Origin honours, be named the Club’s SG Ball Player of the Year, and play a key role in Melbourne’s inaugural Jersey Flegg Premiership victory over the Panthers.
Director of Football Frank Ponissi said Clarke’s re-signing reflects the Club’s confidence in his long-term potential.
“Cooper is a young forward we’re really excited about. He’s earned his first-grade opportunity this season through hard work and made significant improvements to his game over the off-season.
“He’s a great competitor with a terrific attitude and a strong willingness to learn, and we’re looking forward to his continued development in a Melbourne Storm jersey over the coming years.”
