Melbourne Storm has announced its 2026 leadership group with Harry Grant appointed Club captain for the third consecutive season.
The current Golden Boot winner will be assisted once again by his halves pairing, Jahrome Hughes and Cameron Munster as vice-captains.
Experienced forwards Tui Kamikamica, Josh King and Eli Katoa round out the leadership group after also being part of the group in 2025.
“We’re really confident this experienced group will continue to set the standards we expect from our players and lead from the front,” said Storm’s Head of Development and Leadership Todd Lowrie.
Each of them are deserving of their re-appointment and it’s a real luxury and strength for us to bring a stability in the form of this leadership group into the new season.
“Harry was the standout choice as captain once again this year and he will be fantastically supported and complimented by Cameron and Jahrome.”
After last year reinstating the Club’s emerging leadership group for the first time since 2019, it will again be a staple of Storm’s leadership development program in the new season.
Stefano Utoikamanu, Alec MacDonald and Ativalu Lisati are new members of the group, joining Trent Loiero and Tyran Wishart.
Storm will kick off the NRL season with a home blockbuster against the Parramatta Eels at AAMI Park on Thursday 5 March (click here for tickets).
