Junior Male Team Announcement: Round 2

Storm’s SG Ball (U19) and Harold Matthews (U17) sides will both travel to Sydney this week to take on the St George Dragons on Saturday afternoon.

SG Ball (U19)

Melbourne’s U19s will be looking to continue their strong form this weekend as they aim to start the 2026 season with back-to-back wins.

Head Coach Matt Duffie has made a few changes to his squad. Waka Hammond comes out of the side after being named in the NRL Pre-Season Challenge this week, with Jake Lane shifting to fullback in his place. Latrelle Cordtz comes into the team on the wing, while Max Tokava moves to 18th man.

Harold Matthews (U17)

Storm’s U17s have also made several changes for their Round 2 clash against the Dragons as they search for their first win of the 2026 season.

Head Coach Caine Sinclair has made an adjustment on the wing, with Devyn Taru coming into the side to replace Tusiofo Lio. There has also been movement in the forward pack, with Tanae Tasha and Arama Paraha named to start.
