Melbourne Storm is pleased to confirm that promising second-rower Ativalu Lisati has signed a new two-year contract until the end of the 2027 NRL season.
Lisati enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2025, making 14 appearances and earning a place on the bench for the NRL Grand Final.
His impressive form was recognised at the Club’s Player of the Year Awards, where he was named the Billy Slater Rookie of the Year. He also earned his first international call-up with Samoa for the 2025 Pacific Championships.
After joining Storm mid-season in 2024 from the Penrith Panthers, Lisati has quickly established himself as one of the Club’s most exciting young talents.
“I’ve really enjoyed my footy in Melbourne,” Lisati said.
“We’ve got a great group of boys, and I love coming to training every day to work hard for my teammates. I’m looking forward to making the most of my opportunities and doing everything I can to help Storm achieve more success.”
Storm Director of Football Frank Ponissi said Lisati’s contract extension was another positive step forward for the Club’s 2026 preparations.
“We’re delighted to have Ativalu locked in for the next two years,” Ponissi said.
“He showed throughout 2025 that he’s a player of great potential, and we’re excited to see him continue to grow and develop as part of our squad.”
