Melbourne Storm members and fans are set for a blockbuster 2026 season, with a schedule packed full of big games and big opponents at AAMI Park following today’s release of the NRL fixture.
Storm’s 2026 draw shapes as one of the most exciting fixtures in recent years, providing members and fans with a great balance of weekend fixtures, blockbuster games and family-friendly timeslots.
The Club will play 11 home games at AAMI Park, with a 12th home fixture to be staged in Perth at HBF Park against Manly for the NRL’s Indigenous Round. The move replaces Storm’s traditional Magic Round home game and provides a landmark opportunity to showcase NRL in Western Australia ahead of the Perth Bears’ entry in 2027.
Storm will kick off the season under lights at AAMI Park, hosting Parramatta in a highly anticipated Round 1 clash on Thursday 5 March. With the AFL’s Opening Round beginning in Sydney, Storm will have Melbourne and the NRL spotlight all to itself for an electric start to the season in front of a packed AAMI Park crowd.
Round 3 brings another highlight match to AAMI Park, as Storm host the Grand Final rematch against the Brisbane Broncos on Friday 20 March as part of the NRL’s Multicultural Round.
The Club will once again honour one of rugby league’s most significant occasions, hosting its traditional Anzac Day clash against the South Sydney Rabbitohs on Saturday 25 April.
Storm will also make the most of the AFL’s Gather Round in April, hosting a marquee home fixture against the New Zealand Warriors in Round 6, a rare weekend when Melbourne’s sporting spotlight will shine solely on rugby league.

The momentum carries into the second half of the season, with Storm hosting four of last year’s NRL finalists at AAMI Park, the Sydney Roosters (Round 13), Canberra Raiders (Round 16), Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs (Round 22), and Penrith Panthers (Round 25).
Storm CEO Justin Rodski said the 2026 draw delivers a great mix of big games in Melbourne, rewarding the Club’s loyal members and fans, and adding an exciting 12th home fixture in Perth.
“We’re really pleased with our 2026 draw. It delivers a fantastic spread of games across the season, with plenty of big clashes and marquee opponents at AAMI Park,” Rodski said.
“We kick off the year with a huge Round 1 clash against Parramatta, setting the stage for a massive weekend of sport in Melbourne. With the Formula 1 Grand Prix in town and the AFL season starting up north, it’s the perfect chance to launch our season in style and welcome even more fans to AAMI Park.
“Our Grand Final rematch against the Broncos at AAMI Park will be another must-watch contest for our members and fans, as will our home clash against the Warriors during the AFL’s Gather Round, two major events on our calendar.
“In 2025, we achieved record membership numbers, four sold out games at AAMI Park, and an average home attendance of 21,000 fans per game. We’re eager to build on that momentum in 2026, with the goal of filling every seat, every game.
“Lastly, the decision to take a home game to Perth is another great opportunity for our Club and for the game. Hosting Manly at HBF Park, one of our great rivals, will be a terrific spectacle for fans in Western Australia.”
Prior to the 2026 NRL season, Storm will play two pre-season trial matches, facing the Canberra Raiders at Seiffert Oval in Queanbeyan on Friday 13 February, before hosting the Gold Coast Titans at Sunshine Coast Stadium on Saturday 21 February.
Further details regarding ticketing for pre-season and regular season matches will be communicated in the coming days.
