Two Melbourne Storm players have been nominated for the 2025 IRL Golden Boot Award.
Storm captain Harry Grant and vice-captain Cameron Munster have been shortlisted for the prestigious international accolade, following standout performances for the Australian Kangaroos during their unbeaten Ashes Tour of England.
Grant has led from the front for Australia in England, captaining the Kangaroos for the first time in the Second Test as the tourists defeated England 14-4. He finished the game with 42 tackles, the most of any player.
Munster has been in dominant form for the Kangaroos, excelling in the No. 6 jersey. He earned a Man of the Match performance in the Second Test, scoring Australia’s opening try in the 48th minute, alongside 141 metres gained and one line break.
Previous Melbourne Storm winners of the IRL Golden Boot Award include Cameron Smith (2007, 2017), Cooper Cronk (2016) and Billy Slater (2008).
