Harry Grant named Kangaroos captain

Melbourne Storm skipper Harry Grant has been named to captain the Australian Kangaroos in Sunday’s second Ashes Test against England at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Grant will start at hooker and lead the Kangaroos for the first time, stepping into the role following the unavailability of tour captain Isaah Yeo (concussion).

Storm five-eighth Cameron Munster retains his place in the No.6 jersey after an impressive performance at Wembley last weekend. The playmaker will make his 14th Test appearance as Australia look to secure an unassailable 2–0 series lead.

In Round 3 of the Pacific Championships, Eli Katoa has been named at second-row for Tonga’s clash with New Zealand in Auckland. Storm prop Stefano Utoikamanu will miss the match due to concussion.

Tui Kamikamica will again captain Fiji in Sunday’s must-win final round game against Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby, with the winner to be crowned the 2025 Pacific Bowl champions.
