Melbourne Storm’s U21 team will face the Penrith Panthers in the Jersey Flegg Grand Final this Sunday.
As Minor Premiers, the Storm earned a week off in Week 1 of Finals before defeating Cronulla in the Major Semi Final to secure another week’s rest.
Penrith advanced after overcoming Cronulla last week, meaning they’ve played two extra games over the past month, giving Storm the advantage of fresher legs heading into the decider.
Storm have beaten Penrith twice this season, but with the intensity of a Grand Final, they’ll need to deliver their very best brand of footy.
Kick-off is set for 11:00am (AEST) this Sunday at CommBank Stadium, Sydney.
Head Coach Mark Russell has named an unchanged starting line-up following their Major Semi Final win.
