The Rugby League Players Association (RLPA) has confirmed the Contenders for the 2025 Players’ Champion, rugby league’s player-voted award.
Contenders are four players from every team eligible to be voted by NRL players as their competition’s best player. In total, 68 NRL players are in the running this season.
Melbourne Storm’s four Contenders for 2025 are Xavier Coates, Eli Katoa, Harry Grant and Trent Loiero.
Storm halfback Jahrome Hughes claimed the Players’ Champion award in 2024.
The NRL and NRLW Players’ Champion winners will be announced live on Channel 9 on Thursday 2 October.
