Craig Bellamy: 600 Games

Melbourne Storm congratulates Craig Bellamy ahead of his milestone 600th game as senior coach this Friday night against the Sydney Roosters at AAMI Park.

Bellamy becomes just the fourth coach in NRL history to reach the 600-game milestone, a remarkable testament to more than two decades of unmatched leadership, success, and dedication to Melbourne Storm.

He joins an elite group of coaching greats, following in the footsteps of Brian Smith (601 games), Tim Sheens (693), and Wayne Bennett (961).

Since taking the reins in 2003, Bellamy has guided Storm to 21 finals series, five Grand Final victories and six Minor Premierships.

His influence has helped forge a culture of excellence that has made Melbourne Storm one of the most respected sporting clubs in the country.

Storm CEO Justin Rodski praised Bellamy’s enduring impact on the Club and Australian sport.

“Craig Bellamy is not only the most successful coach in Melbourne Storm history, but he’s also one of the greatest coaches Australian sport has seen.

“His commitment, hard work and passion have shaped the identity of our Club on and off the field.

“Craig’s 600th game is a moment for everyone in the Storm family, players, staff, members, and fans, to celebrate an extraordinary legacy.”

To celebrate the milestone, Melbourne Storm will hold a pre-game tribute and special acknowledgements on Friday night as part of the Round 25 clash, which promises to be a thrilling showdown in front of a bumper crowd.

Tickets are available here and fans are encouraged to arrive early to join in the celebrations and honour Craig Bellamy’s legendary career.
