Asofa-Solomona cited for dangerous contact

Storm forward Nelson Asofa-Solomona is facing a potential two-game ban after being cited for dangerous contact in last night’s loss to Manly.

The incident, cited by the NRL Match Review Committee as Grade 2 Dangerous Contact took place during the first half and is the prop’s second offence.

An early guilty plea will see Asofa-Solomona miss two matches. Should he unsuccessfully challenge the charge, he would spend three weeks on the sidelines.

The Club has until midday on Monday to enter a plea.
