Feeder Report: Round 19

Melbourne Storm’s feeder team, the North Sydney Bears, were in action over the weekend, competing in Round 19 of the NSW Cup, while the Sunshine Coast Falcons and Brisbane Tigers had a bye in the Queensland Cup.

North Sydney Bears

The North Sydney Bears recorded a massive 50-0 win over the Canterbury Bulldogs on Monday.

The Bears came out firing, scoring four first-half tries and keeping the Bulldogs scoreless to take a commanding 20-0 lead into the break. They maintained that dominance in the second half, adding five more tries and shutting out Canterbury in what was arguably their best performance of the season.

Moses Leo, Siulagi Tuimalatu-Brown, Bronson Garlick, and Gabriel Satrick all played key roles in the dominant display. Both Garlick and Tuimalatu-Brown crossed for second-half tries to cap off strong individual efforts.

The Bears will look to carry their form into this weekend when they travel to Auckland for a top-of-the-table clash against the Warriors.
