Melbourne Storm can confirm hooker Bronson Garlick will depart the Club at the end of the 2025 NRL season to join the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Garlick joined Storm in 2022 and has since made 33 appearances in the purple jersey. He will remain with the Club for the rest of the 2025 campaign before returning to Sydney to continue his career.
A popular and respected figure within the Club, Garlick made his NRL debut in Round 1, 2023, going on to play 23 games in his debut season at AAMI Park. His standout performances were recognised with Storm’s 2023 Most Improved Player Award.
A junior from the South Eastern Seagulls, Garlick follows in the footsteps of his father Sean Garlick, who played 96 games for South Sydney.
General Manager of Football Frank Ponissi paid tribute to Garlick’s contribution as Storm player #227.
“Bronson is the epitome of what it means to be a Storm person, committed, selfless, and always willing to put the team first.
“While we’re disappointed to see him leave, we respect his decision and know he will give everything for the jersey for the remainder of the 2025 season.
“He is a much-loved member of our Club and has earned the respect of staff, teammates, and fans alike.
“We thank Bronson for his dedication and contribution to Melbourne Storm and wish him and his family all the best as they return to Sydney.”
