Team Announcement: Round 1 Parramatta Eels

Craig Bellamy has named his first starting line-up for the 2025 NRL season as Storm host Parramatta Eels this Sunday in a blockbuster Round 1 clash at AAMI Park.

A strong mix of NRL experience has been named, with 16 players from the 2024 Grand Final selected, alongside a Storm debut for recruit Stefano Utoikamanu.

Harry Grant leads Storm out for his second season as Club Captain, with Cameron Munster and Jahrome Hughes reigniting their halves combination.

Fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen and winger Xavier Coates are named following pre-season injury concerns, with Will Warbrick selected for his 50th Storm and NRL appearance.

The pack features the experience of Josh King at front-row, combined with the firepower of second-rowers Shawn Blore and Eli Katoa. Trent Loiero gets the nod at lock following his impressive 2024 campaign.

Tui Kamikamica, Lazarus Vaalepu and Alec MacDonald headline the bench replacements, combining with the versatility of Tyran Wishart.
