Melbourne Storm has reached a landmark milestone in its Female Development Program, announcing the inaugural travel squad to tour NSW in late September.
In a remarkable showcase of talent and commitment, over 80 athletes participated in the Storm RISE and development training under the expert guidance of Storm’s Female Head Coach, Pauline Poloai, and her team.
Their training and dedication culminated in a trial match on Monday night, after which 20 players were selected on the roster for the upcoming three-day tour of New South Wales where they will play the North Sydney Bears U17 Lisa Fiaola team.

All players involved in the Storm Female Development Program and Storm RISE programs over the last 12 weeks will be invited back to participate in future development opportunities in November this year.
Storm and the NRL have developed a year-long program, including the delivery of RISE and RISE Rookie, which gives more female players the opportunity to develop their physical, technical, tactical and socio-emotional skills in a high-performance environment.
