Tui marks 100 NRL games

Tui Kamikamica will celebrate his 100th NRL and Storm game this evening, when he starts in the front row for Melbourne Storm’s Round 12 clash against the Manly Sea Eagles.

Born on the island of Taveuni, 15 kilometres off the Fijian mainland, Kamikamica came to Australia in 2012 in pursuit of his rugby league dream and started out playing for Parramatta Eels Under-20's.

The Fijian forward then made the move to Melbourne where he featured for Storm feeder side Sunshine Coast Falcons in 2016 before making his NRL debut for the Club in Round 5 of the 2017 season.

Part of the squad for the Club’s 2017 and 2020 Premiership winning seasons, Kamikamica has gone on to become a mainstay in the Melbourne Storm forward pack in recent years, making 66 appearances since 2021.

The Fijian Schoolboys junior ended last year by Captaining his country in his 17th and 18th international appearances at the 2023 Pacific Championship.
