Storm proud to don Multicultural Tee

With Multicultural Round just around the corner, Melbourne Storm are proud to share the 2024 O’Neills Multicultural warm-up tee the NRL squad will wear ahead of Round 3.

Seven of the Storm’s most prominent cultures will feature across the tee, reflecting the unification and cohesion of cultures that is essential to the Club’s success on and off the field.

Connecting with local communities and artists to create symbolic artworks, the final design combines Māori (Martina Taiawa), Fijian (Sereana Suguturaga & brother Ratu), Papua New Guinean (Benjamin Laho), Indigenous (Letitia Smith), Cook Islander (Jason Teitinga), Tongan (Josh Watson) and Samoan (Samoan Students from the Sa’ili le Ala Swinburne University project) imagery.

The design is further complimented by the Club’s iconic purple alongside a bright blue. This represents the crystal-clear waters of the Pacific Island nations, and Australia, and how Storm intertwines these communities, whether they be a player or a fan.

Pick up your Multicultural Round tee today and represent culture and Club!
