Stay in your seats to watch the next generation of Victorian rugby league talent take to the field for some exciting games of touch footy!

As is tradition each time the Melbourne Storm and New Zealand Warriors meet, Saturday’s clash will see both teams battle it out for the Michael Moore Trophy.

Awarded to the winning team, the trophy honours Storm’s inaugural Football Manager, Michael Moore, who tragically passed away in Auckland on the night of 2000 season’s opening round clash. The trophy will be presented to the winning team's Captain on-field after the game.

After that, stay in your seats post-match for your chance to grab a signed carsales fan footy from one of the players! The men in purple will roam AAMI Park for 15 minutes post-match to meet and greet our Storm fam.

Hoping to replicate last week's unbreakable defensive efforts that kept the reigning premiers scoreless, the head coach has named an unchanged side to take to the field.

For the fourth consecutive year, Melbourne Storm will proudly support the annual Good Friday Appeal, providing much-needed funds for The Royal Children’s Hospital. While the Club may not have a game day on Good Friday this year, there will be plenty of opportunity to get behind the Appeal in Round 2!

Members and fans can add on a donation when purchasing or redeeming their ticket to Round 2 and if you can’t get to the match but still want to support the Appeal, donate anywhere, anytime with the Club's online fundraising page!

Good Friday Appeal pins will also be available for purchase at the Saturday night game. Showcase your support by picking one up from the Storm store or from volunteers roaming the Storm Zone on Gosch's Paddock and the AAMI Park concourse.
