Team announcement: Round 2 v Warriors

Craig Bellamy has selected Melbourne Storm's Round 2 starting line-up to take on the One New Zealand Warriors this Saturday night, capping off what is set to be a Festival of Footy at AAMI Park.

Hoping to replicate last week's unbreakable defensive efforts that kept the reigning premiers scoreless, the head coach has named an unchanged side to take to the field.

Following praise from Bellamy after his Round 1 effort, Jonah Pezet will once again run out as five-eighth with Cameron Munster still sidelined with a persistent groin injury.

Nelson Asofa-Solomona will also remain sidelined as he continues to manage a hamstring injury.

Tyran Wishart, Christian Welch, Chris Lewis and Alec MacDonald round out the Club's bench with Shawn Blore again being named 18th man.

Storm will also defend the Michael Moore Trophy, named in honour of the club’s former football manager who passed away in Auckland in 2000.

It won't just be the NRL squad hoping to defend their home Saturday night either.

For the first time in the Club's history, all four Melbourne Storm teams will play at home on the same day.

Junior Representative teams kick off the day with a doubleheader on Gosch's Paddock against the Parramatta Eels, commencing with the Harold Matthews U/17s at 12.45pm followed by the SG Ball U/19s at 2:30pm.

AAMI Park will then play host to a second double-header against the Warriors, with the Jersey Flegg U/21s taking to the field as a curtain raiser from 5pm before the main game kicks off at 7.35pm.
