2024 pre-season underway

AAMI Park was brimming with activity today, with a mix of NRL, Feeder Club and Storm Academy players hitting the training paddock for the first day of pre-season training.

Storm’s first crop of NRL talent returned alongside players from Storm’s various feeder clubs the Sunshine Coast Falcons, Easts Tigers and Storm’s newest Feeder club the North Sydney Bears.

Jonah Pezet, Alec Macdonald, Tristian Powell, Lazarus Vaalepu, Grant Anderson, Cole Geyer and Ammaron Gudgeon were the familiar faces on Gosch’s Paddock for Storm, with the broader Storm squad set to return over the next few weeks.

Storm Academy players also joined the broader squad, with the Academy having started its pre-season last week.

As part of each Feeder Club’s affiliation with Storm, the following players from the Tigers, Falcons and Bears get the opportunity to train alongside members of the broader NRL squad throughout pre-season.

Tristan Hope (Easts Tigers), Thomas Rafter (Easts Tigers), Treigh Stewart (Easts Tigers), Jack Campagnolo (Sunshine Coast Falcons), Caius Faatili (Sunshine Coast Falcons), Nofoasa Malutoa (Sunshine Coast Falcons), Regan Hughes (North Sydney Bears) and Jesse Marschke (North Sydney Bears).
