Season in Review: Nelson Asofa-Solomona

Inking a new contract extension in 2023, NAS was once again proving quite the handful for opposition defensive lines, his big frame and fearless running style seeing him rack up the stats this season.

In his 20 appearances for Storm this season, he topped Storm’s count for tackle breaks, managing 94 and also running for 2,154 metres.

Playing in the front row and on the edge, the Kiwi International's strength saw him amount 19 offloads, a key contributor to Storm’s second phase football.

His performance against the Manly Sea Eagles in Round 17 was a real standout, the 27-year-old registering a try, six tackle breaks, one offload, 36 tackles and 158 running metres.
