The Melbourne Storm family have once again dug deep, raising an incredible $60,000 – the most the club has achieved for the Children’s charity, since the start of the partnership.
The Club record-breaking amount will give 1,538 kids access to the Starlight Express Rooms nation-wide or grant 9 wishes.
Swysh and Solar Battery Group kicked fundraising off to a huge start, each donating $25,000 and $15,000 respectively. With Swysh further contributing 20% of all proceeds from player messages purchased in June, they extended their final amount to over $25,000.

With the Club’s Round 17 clash against the Sea Eagles dedicated to the cause, game day saw donations jump to another level. Starlight volunteers selling wands around AAMI Park raised a huge $11,704, helping fans light up a blacked-out AAMI Park in the first Starlight under the stars, powered by the Solar Battery Group.
Starlight shoot for the stars at halftime saw Storm great Matt Duffie relive his catching days, nailing all five balls delivered his way, raising even more funds for Starlight!
The Fans Pledge was another success with members and fans pledging a combined $884.72 per try throughout the match. With five tries scored, the final amount totalled $4,423.60.

Melbourne’s own contribution of $2,500 and further donations from fans bring the final total to over $60,000.
Since the introduction of the Fans Pledge in 2021, Storm members, fans and broader community have been able to contribute like never before, raising over $116,000 in three years thanks to the initiative and other fundraising activities.
Alongside, new Storm partner Lotus Living will donate a portion of their upcoming Golf Day sales to the foundation.
