Stats that matter: Round 17 v Sea Eagles

Check out the stats that matter from Melbourne Storm's Round 17 clash with the Sea Eagles!

Double for Coates

Xavier Coates put pedal to the metal as he backed up from his try-scoring Origin win on Wednesday night, going on to score two spectacular tries in the second half.

The 10-minute effort marked his 10th career double and his fourth at AAMI Park.

He didn't stop there, finding another level attack with 8 tackle-breaks and 2 line-breaks.

Olam runs back

Justin Olam returned to the Melbourne centres with a point to prove, topping the game charts for the first time in 2023 with 216 run-metres.

Alongside a line-break, line-break assist and a demolishing 72 post-contact metres, the Papua New Guinean solidified his comeback with a signature defensive effort.

6 out of 7

As Storm turns their attention toward two upcoming games at Marvel Stadium, the Club have ensured the foundation of winning at home following six consecutive victories at AAMI Park from seven games played there this season.

The men in purple will be keen to continue the streak as they return to the Docklands stadium, following on from 13 wins and three draws from 22 games played there in the past.
