Junior Representative Wrap up: Round 7

With Storm’s Jersey Flegg side having the bye in Round 3, SG Ball was the sole team in action as it hosted the Sydney Roosters for its Round 7 clash.

SG Ball

Melbourne Storm have been outclassed by the Sydney Roosters 66-4 at Comely Banks Reserve on Saturday.

Back at home after a handful of challenging away trips, Storm struggled to match a dominant Roosters outfit that registered six tries in both halves to run away with the result.

A momentary bright spot came in the 29th minute, Nisifolo Fauonuku benefiting from a late offload from Siulagi Pio on the back of the scrum, strolling over for Storm’s sole four-pointer of the afternoon.

Roosters second rower Salesi Foketi excelled for the away side, scoring a hat-trick while Noah Goodman, Hayden Ritchie and Kade Maguire all nabbed braces.

Looking ahead to Round 8, Storm will kick off the weekend’s double header at Comely Banks Reserve against the Balmain Tigers at 12:30pm.

Jersey Flegg

Melbourne Storm’s Jersey Flegg side had the bye this weekend after recording its first win of the season in Round 2 against the Sea Eagles.

Storm will now gear up to face the Wests Tigers at Comely Banks Reserve on Saturday.
