Johns to make international debut

Cooper Johns will make his international debut after being named in the Italian World Cup squad.

Johns joins 13 Melbourne Storm players in journeying to Leeds to represent their heritage in the rugby league tournament.

2022 saw the 24-year-old record four first-grade appearances, filling in key playmaking roles, alongside a solid season within Storm feeder club, the Sunshine Coast Falcons.

Italy will begin their World Cup run against Scotland on Monday 17 October at Kingston Park, England.
