Earned Moments: Munster bamboozles Sharks

“Earned” might just be the perfect word to describe Munster's effort to secure Storm’s second try of their Round 6 clash against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks. 

Following a swift pass from Hooker Harry Grant and a quick ‘goosey’ ahead of the Sharks 40m line, Munster is motion. 

Starting with a dummy to Trent Loiero in the second row, the five-eighth skirts around a Cronulla defender. Another dummy to centre Justin Olam confuses another Sharks defender allowing him to slip through and break the defensive line. But his efforts aren’t over yet. 

With the try line imminent, Munster flirts with another trick pass to Nick Meaney on the left wing before cementing a cheeky grin on his face as he heads right to slide over the try line late in the second half. 

With his trademark flair, Munster’s Round 6 manoeuvres are up there amongst some of his best in season 2022.
