Earned Not Given: Storm's 2022 Finals Series

Melbourne Storm enters its 12th consecutive finals campaign this week in a series that was “Earned Not Given”.

Season 2022 has been one full of challenges and opportunity. Injury to a number of our starting line-up has provided opportunity for some fresh faces to play more minutes.

Returning to our home at AAMI Park has also given our members and fans the chance to see their team play live and they haven’t let us down.

Finals isn’t and will never be something that Melbourne Storm take for granted.

It isn’t something we sit back & wait to come to us. It hasn’t stopped us.

Launching the club’s finals campaign, Storm CEO Justin Rodski said “Earned Not Given” was a nod to those who have stepped up and in to sustain the Club’s continued success against all odds.

“We are extremely proud of the efforts of our team this season, given the challenges thrown at them throughout the year,” Rodski said.

“We set ourselves high standards every season and to reach the finals for the 12th consecutive season is a huge achievement by our coaches, players and staff.

“While we have again made it to finals, this year’s campaign – ‘Earned Not Given’ – is a reminder to everyone how hard we have had to work to maintain that standard.

It’s been a collective effort – from the players on field, the staff worked to bring game days back to the Melbourne, to the over 40,000 members and fans that support the Club.
