Nikorima becomes player #223

Six years after making his NRL debut, Jayden Nikorima will proudly pull on the purple jersey for the first time in tonight’s clash with rivals Manly at 4 Pines Park becoming Storm player #223.

Beginning his first-grade rugby league career with the Sydney Roosters in 2016, Nikorima went on to make seven appearances for the Eastern Suburbs-based club and also featured in their 2016 World Club Challenge triumph.

Joining Storm for the 2022 season, Nikorima has repeatedly shown a level of skill and promise while continuing his development in the HostPlus Cup with Storm feeder club Brisbane Tigers. He has since gone on to become a key playmaker throughout the Tigers’ 2022 campaign so far scoring five tries, earning two man-of-the-match honours and is currently sitting 6th on the Petero Civoniceva Medal tally.
