Team List: Magic Round v Panthers

Last year’s Storm Rookie of the Year Dean Ieremia and centre Marion Seve have been brought into the Melbourne Storm starting line-up for Saturday’s Magic Round 1 v 2 showdown with premiers Penrith at Suncorp Stadium.

Nick Meaney will switch from wing to fullback, replacing Ryan Papenhuyzen who will be sidelined for four to six weeks with knee and hamstring injuries.

Ieremia, who played in the back-to-back golden point games in rounds two and three, will be the new left winger, while Seve comes in from Reimis Smith who faces surgery on a torn pec and will be missing for 10-12 weeks.

It will be Seve’s first NRL appearance since Round 25 last season.

The interchange bench from Sunday’s win against St George Illawarra remains intact with Brandon Smith joined by Tyran Wishart, Trent Loiero and Chris Lewis.

Tui Kamikamica has been included on the reserves’ list for the first time after completing his nine-game suspension.

Kick-off on Saturday is at 7.35pm.

The match will be live on Channel 9, including in Melbourne, as well as on Fox Sports and Kayo.
