Felise Kaufusi will be proud to notch up his 150th NRL game as the Storm shoot for a record 20 straight wins, but the second-rower is already thinking bigger.
Having drawn alongside the 1975 Eastern Suburbs team on 19 consecutive victories last round, Melbourne now have the chance to earn an outright piece of history by beating the Eels on Saturday.
But the 29-year-old Kaufusi considers his own personal milestone and the team's winning streak things he will cherish post-football.
"We know as a team there's a bigger goal at hand and that's being there at the end of the year and holding that trophy up," he said.
"I think the whole group will realise what we've done or accomplished if we do get there this weekend. When the time's up, we'll look back and realise how big an effort it is.

"It's nice to have wins ... but I like building momentum into the bigger games and it's a challenge for us to keep improving ourselves. Once we get to some big games, we can really ice it off.
"As nice as it is winning all these games, it doesn't mean nothing if you're not there at the end of the year."
Parramatta loom as a tricky opponent after they snapped a four-match losing run with a scratchy win over the Cowboys in round 23.
Eels halfback Mitch Moses was the key to that performance and Kaufusi knows they'll need to contain the playmaker.

"I think our team is well and truly known for putting pressure on players and teams that love their kicking," he said.
"It's a job on all of us to try and put some pressure on him.
"It's going to be another tough game and a good test for us leading into the finals. Look, they're a good side, and we're looking forward to this challenge and playing the Eels.
"Just hoping that we don't play them into some more form this week and we'll be doing our best to stop that."
Kaufusi also addressed his aggressive playing style, which has resulted in him becoming familiar with the judiciary over the years.
"It's quite funny, I was talking to my oldies yesterday and they've been harping on it, making sure I tackle right or properly," he said.
"If I go in with the right intentions, I think I'll be fine. I think I'll play freely and if there was an accident to happen, I have to cop that.
"But that's just the way I play. I don't play to go out and injure someone, I just go out to play free and to play my type of footy."

A two-time premiership winner, Kaufusi has packed plenty of success into his career so far and briefly reflected on his journey.
"It's pretty special, not just to play one game of NRL but to reach 150 is nice. My family and everyone back home has given me some well wishes and hopefully they can make the game," he said.
"To be honest, I don't know that there's really much to it. For me, it's just another game and I'm sure when footy's done for me I'll look back and really appreciate being able to reach this milestone.
"[The highlight is] maybe my debut. Just to play that one game of NRL, that’s always been my dream and I did that back in 2015. I was a bit of a late bloomer. I think I was maybe 23, 24."
