The Storm made it 18 wins in a row and Manly kept on marching with a huge win over Parramatta to ensure the round 22 team of the week would be a blur of purple and maroon.

After some spectacular footy was played in Harvey Norman Women In League Round it was Melbourne who moved to within one win of the Roosters' all time record of 19 back in 1975 and that sent Justin Olam, Kenny Bromwich, Christian Welch and Brandon Smith into the team of the week.

Joining the Storm's big four were Sea Eagles guns Tom Trbojevic, pointscoring machine Reuben Garrick and skipper Daly Cherry-Evans.

Among those breaking the Manly-Melbourne stranglehold were impressive Warriors back-rower Josh Curran and metre-eating Bronco Payne Haas.
