The on-going COVID-19 situation in Greater Sydney has forced a venue change for Storm’s round 16 clash with the Sydney Roosters next week.
Originally scheduled to be played at the SCG, the match has been switched to Newcastle’s McDonald Jones Stadium, with the same kickoff time – 7.50pm on Thursday, July 1.
Storm will travel to Newcastle from its Sunshine Coast camp on Wednesday to finalise its preparations.
Storm members and fans in NSW will be able to attend the game if they live outside the impacted local government areas of Greater Sydney.
