Team Announcement Rd 8 v Sharks

Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy has been forced to make two changes to his squad for Friday night’s round eight NRL clash against Cronulla at AAMI Park.

Chasing their fifth consecutive victory, Storm will be without winger George Jennings and front-rower Nelson Asofa-Solomona, both due to concussions sustained in the ANZAC Day win against the NZ Warriors on Sunday night.

Reimis Smith will start on the wing against the Sharks, with Tom Eisenhuth playing at right centre, as he did when Jennings left the field not long after scoring the opening try in the first half against the Warriors.

Chris Lewis will be the additional forward on the bench, replacing Asofa-Solomona, with Ryley Jacks, Dean Ieremia, Isaac Lumelume, Trent Loiero and Aaron Pene on the extended interchange.

Fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen will miss another week with his shoulder injury.

Kickoff on Friday night is at 6pm.
