Having already raised $20,000 in the lead up to the Good Friday game at Neil’s Wheel, Storm fans and partners helped to hit their target of $50,000 which was then matched by major partner, RedZed.
“Our members and fans are the most passionate in the country and they have shown tonight they are extremely generous too,” Storm CEO, Justin Rodski, said.
“We have had great support from all of our partners but for RedZed to step up and match the funds we have raised tonight was extremely generous as well. Evan and his team were very quick to make the commitment when we first partnered with the good Friday appeal.
“It was great to see the purple army out in force at AAMI Park not just supporting their team, but helping to raise funds for the Good Friday Appeal.”
RedZed Managing Director, Evan Dwyer, said it wasn’t a hard decision to make in matching Storm’s fund raising efforts.
We are so thrilled to be able to support Storm and make a contribution to the Good Friday appeal,

“The Royal Children’s Hospital does an amazing job in supporting kids and their families through some very difficult times and we hope this donation can continue helping families for years to come.”
