RedZed backs Good Friday Appeal

Melbourne Storm’s major partner RedZed has thrown its support behind the Good Friday Appeal, matching dollar for dollar - up to $50,000 - every contribution made by donors to Storm’s fundraising for the Royal Children’s Hospital.

This year, for the first time, Storm is partnering with the Good Friday Appeal, helping to celebrate 90 years of giving for the kids at the RCH.

Last week, NRL squad members Felise Kaufusi, Harry Grant and Max King visited some of the brave kids and amazing staff ahead of their Good Friday clash against the Broncos at AAMI Park.

Co-captain Dale Finucane was at the RCH yesterday to add his profile to the promotional activities.

Storm will be helping to raise funds through a number of activities having already contributed nearly $20,000 when CEO Justin Rodski and Dale joined 3AW’s Neil Mitchell for his “Escape from Neil’s Wheel” event at the Melbourne Star.

RedZed was keen to add its support to Storm’s endeavours and will match every dollar raised by the NRL premiers during the campaign.

"We’re very grateful for RedZed’s generous offer ahead of what should be another great night at AAMI Park on Friday," Rodski said.

"I’d encourage all Storm members and fans to give what they can for the RCH and all the children who benefit from the caring and support they provide."

Storm members and fans attending the Good Friday match can make a donation when redeeming their tickets and there will be activations in the lead up to and during the Broncos clash.
