Stats that matter: Round 3 v Panthers

Cameron Munster was a standout in our round three loss to the Panthers, clocking up the most run metres (195), line breaks (2) and fantasy points (81) for Melbourne.

Brandon Smith laid the most tackles for the away side (34) and burrowed his way to a try in the first 10 minutes of the match.

Nicho Hynes replaced Ryan Papenhuyzen (neck injury) in the number one jersey and had a strong outing, with one line break assist and one try assist to his name.

Tui Kamikamica powered to 113 metres and finished the match with 96.9% tackle efficiency (from 31 tackles).

We completed at 76% with an average set distance of 41.7 metres.
