Vunivalu won't let hamstring woes ruin his Storm finale

As NRL commentators keep a daily watch over Melbourne Storm playmaker Cameron Munster’s knee worries, winger Suliasi Vunivalu is facing a similar daily grind to keep his back-related hamstring issues under control.

The Fijian star is in his final weeks at the club before heading to Rugby Australia and the Queensland Reds where he will look to follow fellow former Storm winger Marika Koroibete's path to the Wallabies.

Vunivalu has dealt with back-related left hamstring woes all season and admits multiple massages a week and regular walks and beach visits are integral for him to perform in next Friday's preliminary final and, hopefully, the NRL grand final the following week.

The back issues flared up after he was spending too much time between training sessions sitting around watching movies and shows, so he is spending more time on his feet at the team's Sunshine Coast resort.
