Three to debut in final regular season game

Three debutants have been named in Sunday's team to face the Wests Tigers, making our round 20 side the most inexperienced lineup in the club's history.

Max King will celebrate his 50th NRL game, contributing to a combined total of only 608 NRL games for the young team.

Aaron Booth will make his Storm and first-grade debut, having impressed during his pre-season stint in Melbourne this year. He won the I Don't Quit iron bar - one of the club's most revered individual accolades -  and earned a development contract in March.

Ricky Leutele will play his first game in the purple jersey after joining the club in August. A veteran of 129 NRL games with the Cronulla Sharks, Leutele is a premiership-winning centre and Samoan International.

Patience and perseverance has paid off for Aaron Pene, who will make his Storm and NRL debut following an injury interrupted 2019. Ater a six-year journey involving injuries, long stints playing club and park footy, a number of clubs and even a shot at the NFL, Pene will finally see his dream of playing NRL become reality.

King has spent the majority of season 2020 on the sidelines with an achilles injury. He has played a total of 11 games for the club and was one of our consistent performers in the back half of 2019.
