Yeehaw, save with family passes for Storm v Cowboys

NRL fans will be able to score super-saver family passes to see Melbourne Storm take on the North Queensland Cowboys on Sunday 13 September at Sunshine Coast Stadium.

Storm and Sunshine Coast Lightning members can access tickets from 9am-midnight, Friday 4 September.

The general public will be able buy their tickets from 9am, Monday 7 September.

Sunshine Coast Council Economic Portfolio Councillor Jason O’Pray said the round 18 clash would be held in accordance with the approved COVID Safe Plan.

“We appreciate local footy fans supporting Melbourne Storm and tickets to the game will cater for everyone in the family to enjoy,” Cr O’Pray said.

“People can buy a family pass (four tickets) starting from $80 for Ground Admission on the North Hill, $100 for the family seated on the Southern Hill and a side-on view for $120 for the family of the Eastern Hill, and there’s a range of affordable tickets starting from $20 for children and $35 for adults.

“Storm has won their last four Sunshine Coast home games and we’re calling on the purple army to back their favourite NRL team on the road to the premiership.

“Footy commentators far and wide have all agreed the atmosphere at Sunshine Coast Stadium is electric.

“It really doesn’t get much better than this and never before have we seen the likes of so much first-class footy in such a short time right here on the Sunshine Coast.”

Storm CEO Dave Donaghy said the club appreciated the ongoing support from the Sunshine Coast community.

“Our NRL squad is now into its third month in their home away from home on the Coast and we’re tracking towards the most exciting time of the year, finals footy,” Mr Donaghy said.

“We’ve had great feedback from those who have been to our home games at Sunshine Coast Stadium and look forward to the two big games to come – against the Cowboys and Tigers.”
