Injury Update - Round 12

Melbourne Storm outside back Paul Momirovski will have surgery on a torn tendon in his finger this evening and is expected to miss up to 12 weeks of NRL action.

Momirovski sustained the injury late in Storm’s win against Brisbane on Friday night and visited a specialist this morning to determine the severity of the injury.

Brenko Lee will also be unavailable for selection this weekend after suffering a fracture in his hand in the round 11 clash. He will out for one to two weeks.

In better injury news for Storm, Tom Eisenhuth (hamstring) will be available for selection this week, while vice-captain Jesse Bromwich is making good progress with his rehabilitation from a medial ligament injury and could come into calculations for a return against Newcastle at Sunshine Coast Stadium on Sunday.

Front-rower Tui Kamikamica underwent successful surgery on his back in Brisbane on Friday and is expected to be able to return to playing prior to the finals series.
